DC’s Live-Action ‘Titans’ Series May Have Found Its Jason Todd
As production work on Warner Bros. Titans live-action series is going on in full swing, new information about the episodes has already started pouring in. A new report from a fan site suggests DC might have already roped in Speechless actor Curran Walters for the role of Jason Todd.
Previously it was reported that the seventh episode of the upcoming DC streaming service series, Titans, will be titled ‘Jason Todd.’ Entertainment blogger, Mr. Will Wong, spotted actor Curran Walters filming for the DC series in a club with Brenton Thwaites, who is playing the character of Dick Grayson in the show.
It is speculated that Walters might be playing the second Batman sidekick, Jason Todd. Walters is best known for his roles in Girl Meets World, Speechless, and Game of Silence. However, it is to be noted that the studio has not yet officially confirmed Curran Walters for Titans and certainly he has not been confirmed as Jason Todd. So, there are also chances that Walters might be portraying someone other than Red Hood in the upcoming series. For this reason, we advise our readers to take the information with a big grain of salt.
Last month, a casting breakdown suggested that the TV show might also introduce the legendary Ra’s Al Ghul. but it also remains unconfirmed.
Talking more about Titans, the DC live-action series stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach, Teagan Croft as Raven, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Minka Kelly as Dove, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Jake Michaels as Cliff Steel.
The series is written by Geoff Johns, Akiva Goldsman, and Greg Berlanti. Titans is set to premiere sometime later this year on Warner Bros.’ new DC-branded streaming service. The series is rumored to feature 13 episodes in its first season.
